More NetBase Hero Sketches

They finally decided on a name for the Hero guy: Captain Insight! Here are some digital sketches I just finished.

NetBase Ad Inks

Here are the inks for the sketches I posted a few days back. I printed out the Photoshop sketches in blue line on Bristol, and inked them with Microns and Pitt Brush Pen.

NetBase Hero sketches

Here are some sketches for spots I'm doing for NetBase ads. They are meant to be plays on the classic Atlas and Thinker icons. The Atlas is pretty straight forward, but I made some adjustments to the Thinker. I wanted the chest logo to be visible and I wanted him to be a little less... I don't know... "closed" or "guarded", like the classic sculpture is, so I moved both of his arms to represent a pensive yet confident and open pose. I think it has the instant recognizability of the original Thinker, though.
