Dobby The House Elf Portrait in Ink

This is a Portrait of Dobby The House Elf I did in Ink in a spiral sketchbook. I used pencil and a felt tip calligraphy pen from Micron and a fine Micron for smaller detail lines. Using the calligraphy pen gives the inks a nice chunky feel that I really enjoy. It can be a little scary the first time you try it, but it can be really fun when you get a hang of it.

I didn’t put this in the Gryffindor journal this time because it wasn’t handy when the mood struck. I’ll try to put most of these in that journal in the future.

I also didn’t do voice over for this one. It takes a LOT of time to edit in voice over that fits the length of a time-lapse sketch, and I’m trying to get this down so that I can share more sketch videos more often.

The links below are affiliate links to the drawing tools that I used in this video. If you click on any of these links I'll get a small commission that will help support this channel, but it wont cost you anything extra. That's a win-win, right?
Thanks ~ Pat
