'tis the season... for Zombies 2

I'm really enjoying these. They are commissions, but I really wanted to do them so I feel as though I'm working completely for myself. I feel the freedom to experiment in a way that I haven't for a long time. Like a good friend of mine says, though, "gutters and strikes" is an appropriate expression for how I feel about this piece. I love some of it, and some of it... not so much.

I think this is another solid "strike". You nailed the subject's face, the only possible gripe would be that his head seems a little smallish, diminishing perspective notwithstanding.

Other than that, I really like your attention to detail with the zombies' musculature and bone structure. I've read tons of zombie comics, and this is the first time I've seen anyone actually make the clavicle prominent (as it should be, on wasted flesh), or seen realistic undead hips. Usually in zombie comics, the shoulders and hips are totally unrealistically buff.

Great job on the back, too.

The guy's expression is really believable, great work.
